What to do with the Royal Mail or Relay QR code sheet

Published 24 September 2026

Some Vinted orders don't give you a printable label at all. Royal Mail and Relay orders usually give you a QR code, which Vinted puts on its own A4 sheet. You take that code to the drop-off point and they print the label for you.

You still have to print the sheet, though, and it's almost entirely empty. Evrylabel scales the QR code to fit alongside your other labels, so one sheet covers the whole batch.

Why some orders give a QR code instead of a label

Different couriers work in different ways. Evri, InPost and DPD orders normally give you a shipping label to print and stick on the parcel. Royal Mail and Relay orders often give a QR code instead, which is scanned at the Post Office, parcel shop or locker, and the label is printed there.

What you actually need to do with it

Take the QR code to the drop-off point, either printed or on your phone screen where the location accepts that, and have it scanned. Check the Vinted order screen for what your specific drop-off point accepts before you leave home.

The problem with printing it

The QR code is small, and Vinted gives it a full A4 page. If you're sending four parcels and two of them are QR orders, you end up printing four separate sheets for what could fit on one.

Putting QR codes and labels on the same sheet

Evrylabel handles QR sheets as well as normal labels:

  1. Download all your label PDFs from Vinted, QR sheets included.
  2. Upload them together to Evrylabel.
  3. It detects the Royal Mail and Relay QR sheets and scales them to fit without distorting the code, so it still scans.
  4. Pick A4 with four per page, or 6×4 thermal, and print one sheet for the whole batch.

Will a scaled QR code still scan?

Yes, as long as it isn't stretched or squashed. QR codes are scaled to fit their space with their proportions kept, and printed at full quality rather than shrunk from a whole page. If you're printing on a thermal printer, print at 100% and check the code looks crisp before you head out.
